Chess: The real thing: castling, en passant, promotion, chess clocks. One on one, or the whole room in two teams taking turns at the board.
Also known as: chess with friends, chess online.
2-8 players. A free online classic game in the browser: one person hosts, everyone else joins by phone.
How to play
Standard chess rules: castling, en passant and promotion included. White moves first.
Checkmate wins. Stalemate, threefold repetition, fifty moves without a capture or pawn move, or too little material to mate is a draw.
Each side has a chess clock. Run out of time and you lose (unless the other side can't mate).
With more than two players, two teams take turns making their side's move. Teammates can suggest a move first: only your own side sees the arrow.
You can offer a draw or resign at any time.
How do I play Chess online with friends?
